Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Assistant Store Manager
to oversee and support day-to-day store operations at our edible oil manufacturing facility in Vadodara. The ideal candidate should have a technical understanding of working with
chemical, mechanical, electrical, boiler systems
, and
packaging and labelling tools
, along with strong inventory and store management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of the store and inventory operations.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
  • Handle tools and equipment related to
    chemical handling, mechanical systems, electrical panels, boilers, and packaging & labelling machines
    .
  • Ensure timely receipt and issue of materials as per production requirements.
  • Coordinate with purchase, production, and maintenance teams for efficient material flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement using
    Tally ERP
    and generate regular inventory reports.
  • Use
    Microsoft Excel
    for inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Implement safety and quality control standards in the store area.
  • Supervise store workers and ensure proper housekeeping and organisation of the store.
  • Support periodic audits and physical verification of inventory.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum
    2 years of relevant experience
    in a store or inventory management role, preferably in a
    manufacturing or factory setup
    .
  • Knowledge and prior experience with
    chemical, mechanical, electrical, boiler systems
    , and
    packaging & labelling machinery
    is essential.
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Excel
    and
    Tally ERP
    for stock and financial record keeping.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
