Job Overview

A WordPress developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress CMS websites . They collaborate with team members to enhance functionality, optimize website performance and optimize images ,videos etc , and ensure a user-friendly design that aligns with organizational goals. From front-end development using Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to back-end development with PHP and MySQL, the role combines various technical and design skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content management systems, debugging tools, and frameworks like jQuery , Figma and Git. They will also be experienced in implementing International SEO strategies, Design the template for all compatible devices and troubleshooting issues to enhance website performance. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with several years of experience, is typically required.

Key Responsibilities

Designing WordPress sites. Develop responsive WordPress websites that align with user needs and meet project specifications.

UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing designs compatible with all devices .

Minifying the Java script code and need to do fast loading performance for a website in browser

Need to check while doing design LCP FCP CLS Values to get better and fast performace website

Customizing themes. Adapt WordPress themes to enhance visual appeal and website architecture, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.

Debugging issues. Troubleshoot technical problems, fix bugs, and resolve performance issues to maintain website functionality.

Enhancing performance. Optimize WordPress websites for speed, scalability, and using debugging tools gtmetrix, and frameworks.

Ensuring security. Implement security measures to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

Managing integrations. Connect third-party APIs and use code versioning tools like Git to improve website features and performance.

Developing user-friendly designs using photoshop , dreamviewer,figma etc . Focus on responsive design and user interface enhancements to ensure positive user experiences.

If it is need developing custom plugins. Build, test, and maintain custom plugins to expand functionality and improve user experience.

Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer

Proficiency in WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.

Strong understanding of WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.

Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and communicate with team.

Qualifications and Skills

Education. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience. 3-10 years of experience in WordPress development, including plugin development and debugging, is required.

Technical skills. You'll need proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, and other programming languages.

Frameworks and tools. Be familiar with code versioning tools like Git, debugging platforms, and content management systems.

Problem-solving skills. The ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively is needed.

Communication skills. We seek strong collaboration and communication skills for working with team members

SEO Code Implementation wherever need like meta tags, canonical tags, href tags pages, schema code, wocommerce etc. Understand search engine optimization practices to improve visibility and search engine rankings.

Responsive design. Have expertise in building responsive designs for optimal performance on all devices.

Be experienced in managing websites development and delivering them on time and need to give updates
