Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Assessment & Feasibility

  2. Conduct site surveys for solar PV installations.

  3. Analyze topography, soil conditions, drainage, and site constraints.

  4. Design & Engineering

  5. Prepare civil layouts for solar PV projects including site grading, access roads, drainage, and fencing.

  6. Design foundations for module mounting structures (MMS), inverter stations, and transformer yards.

  7. Develop pile, RCC, or ballast-based foundation systems for different soil types.

  8. Documentation & Compliance

  9. Prepare drawings using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

  10. Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications.

  11. Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and other local/regional civil standards.

  12. Coordination

  13. Liaise with structural engineers, electrical designers, and EPC teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

  14. Coordinate with geotechnical consultants and support in interpreting soil test reports.

  15. Project Support

  16. Provide civil engineering support during construction.

  17. Review contractor shop drawings and approve construction methods.
