About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will assist the engineering team in updating product designs, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturability and cost-efficiency. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in mechanical and(or) electromechanical design, has a solid understanding of structural, thermal, and stress analysis to support reliable product design and can work independently under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

-Create and update Technical Product Documents (TPDs), including assembly procedures, installation procedures, service procedures, etc.

-Perform design updates on mechanical and electromechanical components using SolidWorks, considering structural, thermal, and stress considerations to ensure product reliability.

-Develop and maintain design documentation such as detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM), ensuring compliance with industry standards (GD&T, SEMI).

-Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, sourcing) to support cost-effective and manufacturable design solutions.

-Apply knowledge of materials such as metals, plastics, and ceramics to enhance and optimize product design and performance.

-Support design reviews, manage revisions, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Experience

2–4 years of industry experience in mechanical design and drafting.

-Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and assembly design.

-Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GD&T

-Solid understanding of structural, thermal, and stress analysis for mechanical reliability.

-Familiarity with engineering standards, drafting conventions, and revision control.

-Ability to interpret and apply engineering feedback and requirements effectively.

-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
