About the Role:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a 6-month internship program. The selected candidate will assist in the design, development, and preparation of mechanical structures and components for testing equipment. This internship provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, prototyping, and product standardization based on international benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and developing mechanical parts and assemblies for testing instruments and related equipment.
  • Study and analyze product requirements, standards, and specifications relevant to mechanical components.
  • Conduct comparative research on similar global products to understand the best design and performance practices.
  • Support in creating CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation using standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).
  • Participate in prototype fabrication, testing, and validation of mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Electronics, and Testing) to ensure design compatibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of design iterations, modifications, and testing outcomes.
  • Learn and apply industry standards (ISO, ASTM, IEC, etc.) applicable to product design and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Final year students preferred).

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
