Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer located in Mohali district. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, issuing purchase orders, preparing requests for quotations (RFQ), and conducting detailed analysis. Daily tasks include working closely with suppliers to ensure timeliness and quality of deliveries, negotiating terms and conditions, and maintaining records of all procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Supplier Evaluation and issuing Purchase Orders
  • Proficiency in preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience 5-8 years in the EPC substation switchyard and power sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
