Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Procurement Engineer_Substation 220KV, located in Mohali district. The Electrical Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, and conducting requests for quotation (RFQ). The position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to ensure that procurement processes are conducted efficiently. The engineer will also play a key role in supporting project execution and maintaining supplier relationships.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Experience with managing Purchase Orders
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with substation procurement processes is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

Procurement Planning, Supplier Identification, Vendor Management, Material Requisition and Purchase Orders, Quality Assurance, Cost Control and Budget Management, Contract Administration, Documentation and Reporting, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement.

Core Competencies:

Procurement Expertise, Technical Knowledge, Supplier Management, Project Coordination, Contract Management, Communication Skills, Analytical Abilities, Ethical Standards.

Qualification & Other Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

Experience: 2-5 Years in Power Substation Switchyard
