We are seeking a skilled and experienced
SharePoint Administrator
to support the migration of our existing
on-premises SharePoint environment to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, configuring, executing, and maintaining the SharePoint migration, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end
    migration of SharePoint on-premises (2010/2013/2016/2019)
    to
    SharePoint Online (M365)
    .
  • Perform
    pre-migration analysis
    , create detailed migration plans, and document migration approaches.
  • Utilize migration tools such as
    ShareGate, Metalogix, Quest, or native PowerShell scripts
    to carry out content migration.
  • Assess existing content, customizations, workflows, and web parts for compatibility with SharePoint Online.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint Online environment including
    site collections, libraries, permissions, metadata, and security
    .
  • Monitor and optimize post-migration performance and user access.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after the migration.
  • Apply best practices around
    governance, compliance, backup, and recovery
    in SharePoint Online.
  • Work closely with
    security, compliance, and infrastructure teams
    to ensure a secure and compliant migration.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience
    administering SharePoint platforms, including at least
    2 years of experience in SharePoint Online
    .
  • Proven experience in
    SharePoint migration projects
    (on-prem to online).
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting, migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix), and M365 administration.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site structure, content types, metadata, and permissions.
  • Understanding of
    Microsoft 365 ecosystem
    , including OneDrive, Teams, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with
    InfoPath, Nintex workflows
    , or alternatives used in current environments.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g.,
    Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
    ,
    SharePoint Associate
    , or similar).
  • Experience with
    hybrid environments
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Azure AD, Conditional Access
    , and other security components relevant to SharePoint Online.
  • Experience in user training, documentation, and change management practices.
