We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team as
Manager/ Senior Manager – Manufacturing Research & Policy
. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong economic research capabilities, the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, and a passion for shaping the future of India's manufacturing ecosystem.

Role Overview

The role will lead research initiatives on key economic and manufacturing sector issues. The role involves conducting surveys, analysing data using quantitative and qualitative models, interpreting market trends, and generating insights that support industry and government decision-making. The candidate will also contribute to thought leadership through reports, publications, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research & Insights Development

  • Conceptualise and plan research agendas
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and modelling
  • Produce high-quality reports, charts, and briefs
  • Interpret sectoral trends and forecast market scenarios

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with ministries, universities, think tanks, and industry bodies
  • Co-author research publications and knowledge papers
  • Contribute to discussions with senior policymakers and industry leaders

3. Strategic Policy & Content Development

  • Identify new research themes and strategic focus areas
  • Prepare talking points, briefs, and policy notes for leadership
  • Deliver crisp and compelling presentations across forums

4. Issue Interpretation & Solutions

  • Understand challenges raised by stakeholders
  • Provide data-backed recommendations and insights

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Economics from a reputed institution
  • Strong domain knowledge in economic and manufacturing-related issues
  • Proven experience in research, modelling, and policy analysis
  • Ability to conceptualise and drive research agendas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
