Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Splunk Engineer, located in Hyderabad. The Splunk Engineer will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining Splunk infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing Splunk searches, dashboards, and alerts, developing and implementing data onboarding processes, and working closely with security teams to identify and resolve issues. The engineer will also monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements, ensuring the overall health and efficiency of the Splunk environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in deploying and managing Splunk infrastructure
  • Experience in creating and optimizing Splunk searches, dashboards, and alerts
  • Developing and implementing data onboarding processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with security teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Splunk Certified Administrator or Architect are a plus
  • 6+ years of Experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure management is beneficial
