Principle Accountabilities:

• Quickly assimilate technical client requirements and, using the product portfolio, articulate a suitable solution architecture in writing, online, or in person.
• Act as a technical advisor to clients and partners in order to manage projects.
• Help design and implement user-facing experiences that are stunning, clear, and resilient for all users.
• To initiate, plan, and carry out large-scale, cross-functional, and organizationally important programs, and exercise technical leadership by promoting and implementing best engineering practices.
• Drive engineering processes and systems with a long-term design mindset that prioritizes simplicity and maintainability.
• Partner and work collaboratively with people across Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver complex large-scale experiences.
• Optimize code for best performance and accessibility.
• Propose and implement robust, scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions that are tested, reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning.

Work Dimensions:

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting current and potential clients with complex security requirement capture, solutions architecture, system design, and technical project management pertaining to Edmo's solutions, as well as periodically with custom development projects.

We need a candidate with strong technical skills, as well as a versatile and passionate individual eager to play an active role in the pre-sales processes and design the architecture that meets the client's needs because Edmo works with advanced clients from the education industries. Once the deal is closed, you will serve as a consultant and even the project manager while overseeing the project for the customer's solution implementation.

Role requirements:

• 8+ years of software design and development experience in both frontend & backend technologies: C#, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, a modern web framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue), or other frontend languages, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Redis, Sass, Web Sockets, NPM or Yarn, ESLint, WebHooks, Event-driven Microservice Architecture, AWS, GCP.
• Ability to work on cloud and plan architecture for scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
• A degree in engineering, computer science, or similar (a must)
• Knowhow in Linux server enterprise application + deployment architecture (a must)
• Previous project management experience in complex IT projects will be preferred
• Experience in the above will be valued but the most important factor is that you have the theoretical background and possess the potential to be a great senior solutions architect at iSchoolConnect. This implies you are a self-learner, eager to continuously stay on top of security matters, etc.
