Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all aspects of product costing, cost control, and preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports for effective decision-making. The role requires a CA/CMA/CS with strong analytical and reporting skills to ensure accurate financial insights for management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Costing & Budgeting

  2. Prepare and maintain standard cost sheets for all products and processes.

  3. Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to determine product cost variance.
  4. Support in preparation of annual budgets and cost forecasts.
  5. Conduct cost audits and ensure alignment of actual costs with standard and budgeted costs.

  6. Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and suggest process improvements.

  7. MIS Reporting

  8. Prepare periodic MIS reports (Weekly, Monthly) for management review.

  9. Develop dashboards summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production cost, sales, profit margins, and variance analysis.
  10. Provide detailed variance analysis between actual vs. budget vs. forecast.
  11. Consolidate financial and operational data for decision-making.
  12. Monthly working capital analysis, Funds flow analysis

  13. Automate and streamline MIS reporting processes using Excel / ERP tools (Power BI, OWN ERP, other tools).

  14. Financial Analysis

  15. Perform cost-benefit analysis and profitability studies.

  16. Assist management in pricing strategy and margin analysis.
  17. Support business planning and strategic decisions with financial insights.

  18. Monitor working capital metrics like inventory, payables, and receivables.

  19. Audit & Compliance

  20. Support internal and statutory audits with cost-related data and schedules.

  21. Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards (CAS) and applicable financial regulations.

  22. Maintain proper documentation of costing and MIS processes.

  23. Coordination

  24. Liaise with production, purchase, and sales departments to gather accurate cost and operational data.

  25. Collaborate with plant and finance teams to ensure data accuracy in ERP.

Required Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified or Cost Accountant or Company Seceratey
  • 2–3 years of experience in costing, budgeting, or MIS reporting ( Preferably in manufacturing / Textile Sectors).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
  • Good understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Timeliness and accuracy of MIS reports ( early completion of MIS Reports)
  • Accuracy of cost computation and variance analysis for products and orders.
  • Budget vs Variation analysis
  • Effectiveness of data-driven insights provided to management.
  • Competent to develop and deliver systems oriented targes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹47,019.27 per month
