Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective and current students through academic pathways, providing career counseling, and assisting with educational decisions. Daily responsibilities include one-on-one student counseling, offering academic advising, supporting students in setting and achieving career goals, and facilitating communication between students and the institution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education-related fields
- Ability to foster a supportive and motivating environment for students
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in an academic or counseling role is an added advantage
