We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Academic Counselor/Admission Counselor. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding and counseling students who aspire to study abroad. Your primary goal will be to assist students in making informed decisions regarding their educational and career pathways, ensuring their successful admission into reputable international institutions. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in meeting predefined targets by effectively communicating the benefits and opportunities of studying abroad.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide personalized guidance and counseling to students seeking to study abroad, understanding their academic goals, interests, and aspirations.

Assess students' eligibility for various academic programs and institutions based on their academic qualifications, background, and career objectives.

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students, either in-person or remotely, to provide information on different study destinations, courses, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

Assist students in selecting appropriate universities and programs that align with their academic and career objectives.

Stay updated with the latest developments in international education, immigration policies, and admission procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.

Build and maintain relationships with international educational institutions, attending education fairs and conducting campus visits to gather relevant information and establish partnerships.

Meet individual and team targets by effectively promoting the benefits of studying abroad, addressing student concerns, and converting inquiries into successful admissions.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Counseling, International Relations) is preferred.

Proven experience in academic counseling, student services, or admissions counseling, preferably in the field of international education.

Strong knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, and study destinations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, parents, and educational institutions.

Exceptional persuasive and convincing abilities to meet admission targets and influence student decision-making.

Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms for counseling and documentation purposes.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative solutions to challenges faced by students during the admission process.

Fluency in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
