Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Textile Designer to join our creative team. The position is full-time and based in Jaipur. We require candidates to have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative textile designs and contributing to our design team's aesthetic vision.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Creativity (Mandatory skill): Must possess unique artistic vision and ability to develop innovative textile patterns.
  • Pattern Making (Mandatory skill): Must be skilled in creating patterns that adhere to design specifications and production feasibility.
  • Fabric Knowledge (Mandatory skill): Comprehensive understanding of different fabric types and their properties is crucial.
  • Color Theory: Ability to understand and apply color combinations effectively in designs.
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Proficiency in using CAD tools for developing and finalizing textile designs.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for intricate details to ensure precision and quality in design work.
  • Trend Analysis: Capability to research and incorporate current fashion and textile trends into new designs.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and develop textile designs that align with the company's aesthetic and project goals.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate them into new design concepts and collections.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders and incorporate feedback for refinement.
  • Utilize CAD tools for drafting designs and maintaining digital design records.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure alignment with design specifications.
  • Manage multiple design projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion within set deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and participate in collaborative design discussions.
