The company has a dynamic, creative, and performing team. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role as a SAP PP Consultant at Astiro Information Systems. The role is primarily located in Chennai but allows for some work from home flexibility.

The SAP PP Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business processes, managing master data, integrating systems, providing consulting services, and using analytical skills to optimize SAP solutions. Core Responsibilities1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Work with clients or internal stakeholders to understand production planning needs.
  • Conduct workshops to capture detailed functional requirements.2. SAP PP Module Implementation & Configuration
  • Configure master data: Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, Routings.
  • Set up production types: Discrete, Repetitive, Process industries.
  • Integrate with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, WM, CO).3. Process Optimization
  • Analyze current business processes and suggest improvements using SAP.
  • Customize SAP PP to streamline manufacturing and material planning processes.4. Testing and Documentation
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create end-user manuals and functional specification documents.
  • Provide the requirement to technical consultant.5. User Support & Training
  • Provide training to end-users and super users.
  • Support post-go-live issues and change requests.

Key Skills and KnowledgeDeep understanding of SAP PP module (MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, Demand Management). Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.Knowledge of business processes in manufacturing, including make-to-order and make-to-stock scenarios. Cross-functional knowledge of MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and QM (Quality Management).

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualitification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.3–5 years of SAP PP implementation/support experience. Certification in SAP PP is a plus.

Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Tools and TechnologiesSAP ECC / SAP S/4HANAMS Office / ExcelJIRA, ServiceNow (for ticket management)
