Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join our Hyderabad-based team. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on the development, configuration, and maintenance of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.

As a PolicyCenter Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, coding, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the successful deployment and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter modules. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, QA teams, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software that meets client needs.

Key Responsibilities
Development & Configuration :

  • Design, develop, and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter applications and modules according to business requirements.

Requirement Analysis

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements to develop effective, scalable solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Coding & Unit Testing

  • Write clean, efficient code primarily in Java and Gosu languages; perform thorough unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Identify and resolve defects and issues during development and after deployment to ensure system stability.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, QA teams, and other developers to facilitate smooth implementation and integration of PolicyCenter modules.

Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed features and configurations.

Adherence To Methodologies

  • Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Proficiency in Java and Gosu programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks.
  • Experience in requirement analysis, solution design, unit testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the insurance domain is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
