Brief about the Unit:

Powered by OneTCS mindset & TCS' full services capabilities, the Global sustainability services practice (GSSP) focusses on driving innovation and ecosystem led sustainable growth for clients across all industries across the globe.

The practice consolidates TCS' market leading industries and technology experience coupled with sustainability domain knowledge to enable consulting led partnerships for achieving client's sustainable growth aspirations.

Consulting practice within strategy & advisory unit of GSSP focusses on driving cross industry advisory services for client's via co-creating the strategy and building the roadmap to achieve the same. Specific cross industry focus areas include ESG reporting, Climate, Biodiversity, Decarbonization, GreenIT, Circularity, Sustainable supply chain, Safety, DE&I etc.

Responsibilities / Expected Deliverables:

  • Establishing or Refining overall sustainability strategy, roadmaps, pathways & plans
  • Driving focused assessments or initiatives for specific areas like Circularity, Biodiversity, Decarbonization, Climate risks, LCAs, reporting frameworks and regulations, industry specific benchmarking, decarbonization pathways research etc.
  • Enable integrated roles, processes, systems and insights towards triple bottom line goals across the enterprise or for specific domains like green finance, sustainable supply chains, energy transition
  • Building cross industry thought leadership insights for focus areas, in terms of point of views, research papers, PoCs, oversight for specific digital solutions etc.
  • Influence and drive change towards target operating model as per sustainability roadmap and plans
  • Oversight for selection and deployment of technology enablement such as data, systems/ tools.

Must-Have**

  • Consulting & Coaching mindset
  • Advisory experience in areas such as double materiality, strategy validation, climate risk modelling, carbon markets, pathways assessments, energy transition, decarbonization etc.
  • Experience with leveraging data to build insights for specific industries/ domains.
  • Awareness of reporting frameworks and specific industries and focus areas like circularity/ climate/ decarbonization etc.
  • Experience of driving transformation programs with digital enablement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, storytelling, business problem identification and framing skills
