Application Engineer

Your tasks

• • Provide pre/post-sale technical support including application-oriented demonstrations to customers.
  • Technical Support for RF and Microwave Test and Measurement instruments
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and determine appropriate resolution.
  • Act as a technical consultant for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and technical drivers.
  • Develop and present local seminars and customer training
  • Provide technical feedback and new customer requirements/features to Product division.
  • Contribute to the creation of white papers, application notes and professional articles.
  • Work independently and as part of a global team to strengthen customer relationships and drive acceptance of Rohde & Schwarz solutions.

Your qualifications

• Education: Engineering degree in Electronics and communication or a related field. Academic criteria minimum 70% in SSC, HSC, and University. Experience: 2 to 3 years Skills:

  • Proficiency in RF & Microwave domain
  • Programming experience (C/C++, Visual Basic, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) is a plus
  • Experience working with test equipment including Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Network Analyzers and Oscilloscopes
  • Profound knowledge of latest wireless technologies is preferred
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive solutions with excellent problem-solving skills
