Role & responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of network systems ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and services like DNS, DHCP, IPsec.
  • Maintain network security using firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS tools.
  • Support cloud networking solutions on AWS and Azure environments.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for network operations and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance and business continuity.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of OSI & TCP/IP models, routing, switching, and subnetting.
  • Hands-on expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, IPsec).
  • Proficiency with security tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of scripting & automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Qualifications & Certifications:

CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)

CompTIA Network+ (vendor-neutral certification preferred)

AWS / Azure Certifications (cloud networking specialization desirable)

Preferred candidate profile

  • Prior hands-on experience in network administration / IT infrastructure roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
