Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Analytics Engineer located in Chennai. The Senior Analytics Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines, data modeling, and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes. The candidate will also work on data warehousing solutions and provide valuable data analytics insights to drive business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate data strategies and streamline processes is essential.

Qualifications

Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics, with proven expertise in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and models.

Database Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning across large datasets.

Cloud Data Warehouses: Extensive experience working with Snowflake or Google BigQuery, including query optimization, warehouse management, and cost control.

Data Transformation: Skilled in dbt (Data Build Tool) for developing modular, version-controlled, and production-grade data models.

Workflow Orchestration: Proficient in Apache Prefect for automating and scheduling complex data workflows.

Data Visualization: Practical experience with Domo/Power BI for creating insightful, business-driven dashboards and reports.

Data Modeling: Expertise in designing and implementing robust data models optimized for analytics and reporting.

Programming: Strong programming knowledge in Python, with experience in developing data transformation scripts, APIs, and automation utilities.
