Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations

  • Manage inbound, storage, and outbound operations for grocery products.
  • Ensure proper handling of FMCG & perishable items with adherence to FEFO/FIFO practices.
  • Maintain hygiene, temperature control, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor and achieve daily operational KPIs (TAT, order fill rate, accuracy, etc.).

2. Inventory Management

  • Ensure accurate stock management through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Minimize stock variances, damages, and pilferages.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams for stock reconciliation.

3. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of supervisors, operators, and contract staff.
  • Plan manpower for peak and non-peak operations.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key point of contact for client operations teams.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLA) are met/exceeded.
  • Provide MIS reports and operational updates to clients and management.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Maintain adherence to food safety, FSSAI, and EHS standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen/5S).

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations in FMCG/Grocery sector.
  • Experience in managing perishable and temperature-controlled products.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client expectations in a 3PL setup.
