Role Overview

We're looking for Business Development Executive with solid experience in IT sales and a proven track record on Upwork. You take full ownership of hunting opportunities across Upwork and other job boards, manage our presence, spot high-value projects, draft proposals, and drive client conversations all the way to closure in collaboration with the founding team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys scouting, pitching, and building client relationships, with opportunities to grow into full client ownership and senior BD responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

- Bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other job boards with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and fit.

- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities across platforms.

- Write and submit customized, high-conversion proposals.

- Communicate with clients in early stages: requirement gathering, clarifications, initial negotiations.

  • Support in deal closures alongside the founding team.
  • Track BD metrics: proposals sent, response rates, conversions, and revenue influenced.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.

Basic Requirements

- 3 years of relevant experience in business development or client acquisition in IT services.

- Proven track record on Upwork: Must showcase past projects/contracts, reviews, and portfolio.

- Familiarity with IT Services: Web3, SaaS, web, or mobile app outsourcing projects.

- Strong grasp of opportunity scouting on job boards, writing sharp proposals, and qualifying leads.

- Clear, confident English communication, both written and verbal.

- Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and reporting skills.

Good to Have

- Familiarity with other freelance/job boards beyond Upwork.

- Prior experience in closing deals independently.

- Ability to manage long-term client relationships and upselling.

Compensation & Incentives

Fixed Salary: 25, ,000 per month (based on experience and proof of work).

Performance Incentives: Additional earnings linked to:

- Successful deal closures or revenue influenced.

- Securing repeat clients or higher-value projects.
