Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Collection Manager, located in Ahmedabad. The Area Collection Manager will be responsible for overseeing the collection process, managing collection agents, ensuring timely collection of payments, and handling customer queries related to outstanding dues. The role includes monitoring daily collection targets, preparing collection reports, and implementing strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquencies. Collaboration with internal teams and adherence to company policies and legal regulations is also essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in collections management, with an ability to oversee and manage collection agents
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to handle customer queries and ensure positive interactions
  • Analytical skills for monitoring collection targets, preparing reports, and implementing improvement strategies
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and compliance related to collections
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using collection software and other relevant technology tools
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide collection agents
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience in the BFSI sector is a plus
