Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to lead quality control processes in our industrial test chamber manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge in refrigeration systems, electrical components, fabrication, and sheet metal powder coating. This role is critical to ensuring that all chambers meet internal quality standards, engineering specifications, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute quality inspections across all production stages including refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, sheet metal fabrication, and powder coating finishes.
  • Review product specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards to develop inspection checklists and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Oversee in-process and final product testing, including temperature performance, insulation integrity, and electrical safety.
  • Collaborate with production, design, and service teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, testing records, and QA documentation for internal audits and customer reviews.
  • Train and mentor quality inspectors and production staff on quality best practices.
  • Support ISO 9001 audits and client inspections as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in a quality control/supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Refrigeration systems (e.g., compressor-based cooling units)
  • Electrical systems (wiring, panel inspection, testing)
  • Sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly
  • Powder coating standards and surface finish inspection
  • Proficient with quality tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone diagram, Pareto analysis).
  • Familiar with inspection instruments (calipers, micrometers, insulation testers, coating thickness gauges).
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Hands-on experience in a test chamber or HVAC-equipment manufacturing company is an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle multiple inspections in a dynamic production environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
