We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 
Senior Accounts Associate / Assistant Manager
 proficient in 
Tally Prime
, with a strong understanding of 
GST
, 
Taxation
, and 
day-to-day accounting operations
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting monthly closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries in 
    Tally Prime
    , including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and file 
    GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
     in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in 
    monthly and quarterly TDS filings
    , including 26Q, 27Q, and form generation for vendors.
  • Conduct 
    bank reconciliations
    , vendor and customer reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
  • Maintain and reconcile 
    accounts payable and receivable
    ; follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Ensure 
    timely closure of books of accounts
     and support month-end/year-end processes.
  • Assist in preparation of 
    MIS reports
    , audit schedules, and support internal/external audits.
  • Coordinate with statutory consultants for tax payments, filings, and assessments.
  • Monitor compliance with 
    accounting standards
     and 
    statutory regulations
    .
  • Manage 
    inventory accounting
    , credit notes, debit notes, and E-way bill generation where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance; M.Com /CA preferred.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized or FMCG/Manufacturing company (Listed entity).
  • Proficient in 
    Tally Prime
     and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of 
    Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
    .
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently.
