Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and overseeing daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes as required.
  • Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax consultants, vendors).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ICWA/MBA Finance is a plus).
  • 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally,).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
