Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all business accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
  • Handle all banking activities, including overdraft facilities, bank guarantees, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with the company auditor for filing of returns and preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory regulations.
  • Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/yearly GST and TDS returns, and reconcile tax records.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
  • Monitor and implement accounting standards and changes in tax laws.
  • Liaise with government departments, auditors, and financial institutions as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and ensure data accuracy.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or professional certification like CA/ICWA is an advantage).
  • Proven experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good understanding of banking processes, overdrafts, and bank guarantees.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with auditors, bankers, and government departments.
  • Fluency in English and Kannada (reading, writing, and understanding).
  • Proficiency in drafting and replying to official letters and emails.
  • Ability to use the internet effectively for official purposes, including using ChatGPT for drafting and information gathering.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining financial confidentiality.
