• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web architecture, security, and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven WordPress experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional WordPress development experience, including a strong portfolio demonstrating the development of custom themes and plugins.
• AWS expertise: Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing WordPress sites on AWS using core services like EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
• Advanced technical skills: In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Performance and security optimization: A track record of implementing website speed and performance optimizations and strong knowledge of web security best practices.
• Server and deployment automation: Experience in automating deployment workflows and managing CI/CD pipelines for efficient, repeatable deployments.
• Full-stack understanding: Experience with both front-end and back-end development, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the entire web stack.

Problem-solving: A strong history of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to website functionality, performance, and hosting

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• WordPress development:
• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement user-friendly and responsive front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Manage back-end development, including database and server integration.
• Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot content issues, and optimize websites for speed and scalability.
• Implement and manage e-commerce functionality using WordPress plugins.
• AWS hosting and deployment:
• Host and manage WordPress websites on AWS using services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and Amazon RDS.
• Ensure website availability and scalability by configuring AWS services like Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) and Auto Scaling Groups.
• Manage and optimize WordPress databases using Amazon RDS or Amazon Aurora.
• Implement content delivery network (CDN) strategies with Amazon CloudFront for faster content delivery and improved performance.
• Use Amazon S3 for storing and delivering media and other static content.
• Security and optimization:
• Implement robust security measures, including protecting against common web vulnerabilities and ensuring data security and compliance.
• Use AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access management.
• Configure and maintain a monitoring stack using services like Amazon CloudWatch to ensure optimal performance.
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and other developers to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality web solutions.
