Senior Manager - Finance (Hotel Industry) - JD

Purpose: The candidate will manage and finalize accounts, lead consolidation and integration of financial statements across multiple entities and ensure compliance with both internal and statutory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee finalization of accounts for the group's hotels, ensuring accurate closure of monthly, quarterly and annual books.
  • Manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities/business units, aligning reports to group and statutory standards.
  • Integrate the accounting function post-merger or acquisition, standardizing systems and processes across hotels.
  • Coordinate with various department heads and external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Solid experience in accounts finalization, consolidation and integration of accounts for multi-entity business groups.
  • Preference for prior work experience in hotel, hospitality or allied service industries.
  • Strong understanding of hotel accounting principles, revenue recognition methods, cost and inventory control and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Advanced skills in ERP systems, Excel and financial consolidation/reporting software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate audits, statutory filings and regulatory reporting.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in hotel finance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and hotel revenue accounting.
  • Experience in a multi-property or group accounting environment.
  • Exposure to integration projects for newly acquired hotels or business units.
