Product Engineer(For well known MNC- from Braking system)

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage one or several mechanical product solutions in an application project (or acquisition) on

    Spec, on time and on cost
  • Coordinate and plan technical activities (internally and with the customer) in alignment with the

    project
  • Support and coordination of overall product validation (Performance on bench, NVH and vehicle tests)
  • Coordinate sample quantity determination for internal needs
  • Authorize delivery of samples to customer
  • Maintain specific customer/project knowledge and history
  • Represent internally the customer towards plant, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Alert in case of deviation according to internal rules
  • In charge of the technical definition according to customer requirements and internal design rules
  • Lead the design reviews internally and participate to review with suppliers when necessary
  • Ensure project technical documentation and other project related documents
  • Contribute to product continuous improvement through lessons learnt


• Overall good product and system knowledge (Preference Brakes industry)


• Manufacturing process knowledge


• Good overview of development and validation process


• PLM tool team center, 3D-Experience


• Expertise in CAD tool CATIA/UG/Ideas


• Tolerance Stack-up & Design Calculations


• DFMEA, Design Review, DFM/DFA Reviews

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering

Experience should be 2 to 7 Years
