Compensation

What You'll Do
As Head of Design, you will:

  • Define and lead the
    design strategy
    across product, brand, and marketing.
  • Build and evolve NYX's
    visual identity, design system, and storytelling language
    .
  • Own
    UX/UI design
    for the platform, ensuring a seamless, high-performing user experience.
  • Drive
    marketing design
    —campaign creatives, landing pages, and collaterals.
  • Actively contribute to
    content generation
    (static, dynamic, video, and experimental formats), ensuring design excellence in marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and AI teams to translate ideas into execution.
  • Stay ahead of cultural and design trends to keep NYX at the cutting edge.
  • Mentor and eventually build a
    world-class design team
    around your vision.

Core Requirement

  • 7–12 years of design experience
    , with strong exposure across both
    product (UI/UX)
    and
    marketing design
    .
  • This is
    not a pure management role
    —you must be
    hands-on
    in design execution.
  • Ability to lead
    from the front technically
    , across
    UI/UX
    and
    marketing design
    .
  • Strong grasp of
    AI-driven design tools
    and ability to apply AI in both
    product UI
    and
    marketing collateral
    .
  • Comfort with experimentation: exploring
    different types of content
    , formats, and styles to find what drives engagement and performance.
  • Must be
    available immediately
    —we are at a crucial
    3-month window before our next fundraise
    , and your contribution will directly impact our growth story.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in
    product design, brand storytelling, and marketing design
    .
  • Strong portfolio showcasing
    end-to-end design leadership
    .
  • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, AI-powered design tools).
  • Experience in building/scaling design in a
    startup or fast-moving environment
    .
  • Entrepreneurial mindset:
    ownership, adaptability, and speed
    .
  • Passion for blending
    creativity, AI, and performance marketing
    .
