About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paraplanner to support our financial advisers in delivering exceptional financial planning and advice to clients. As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in preparing comprehensive financial plans, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Financial Plans:

2. Assist advisers in preparation of suitability reports and annual review letters for clients.

3. Prepare reports and recommendations covering areas such as pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection.

4. Client Support:

5. Liaise with financial advisers to understand client objectives.

6. Gather and analyze client data to ensure recommendations are well-informed.

7. Research & Analysis:

8. Conduct detailed investment and pension research to identify suitable financial products and solutions.

9. Keep up to date with changes in financial products, legislation, and compliance requirements.

4. Administrative Tasks

• Data update & Document Management
• Preparation of Letters of Authority (LoAs)

• Managing provider correspondenceCompliance:

• Ensure all recommendations comply with FCA regulations and company policies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.Cashflow Modelling and financial projections

• Conduct cash flow analysis and review customers' finances annuallyTeam Collaboration:

• Collaborate with advisers, administrators, and other paraplanners to ensure smooth client service delivery.

• Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Essential:

• Bachelor's degree/Masters degree in Finance

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a paraplanning or similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• High level of computer efficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook,

• Desirable:

• Certified Financial Planner status or working towards it through FPSB

• Level 4 Certification in Paraplanning through CII
• Strong understanding of UK financial products, tax planning, and investment strategies.
• Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Xplan, Intelliflo, Voyant).
• Proficiency in research tools (e.g., Selecta, Defacto, O&M Profiler)
• Familiarity with FCA regulations and compliance standards.
