Hiring an Accounts & Finance Head

Role: Leading 3 members team and in-charge of Accounts, Audits, Taxation, etc.

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Technical Skills:

  1. Full Chartered Accountant (not inter passed alone)

  2. Excellent knowledge of using excel files and power-point files

  3. Excellent working experience in the latest TALLY software

  4. Income Tax knowledge and working experience

  5. GST knowledge and working experience

  6. Other statutory payments by Accounts

  7. Accounts and Cash Flow as per Companies Act

Behavioral and Other Skills:

  1. 7 years post qualification experience and in a listed company (not in a CA firm)

  2. Leadership ability to manage team with atleast 3+ years experience under team head role and drive results

  3. To head the team of 4 team members in Accounts team

  4. Excellent communication skills – oral and written

  5. Experience in handling auditors (statutory, tax and internal) and Consultants

  6. Experience in handling Government department matters

  7. Experience in cash flow management

  8. Meticulous, detail oriented and high compliance orientation

  9. Hard working, willing to work extended hours for the statutory and directors' deadlines

Tasks to be performed:

  1. Handling bank matters

  2. Handling auditors

  3. Experience in handling bank matters

  4. Checking statutory payments PF, Profession Tax, TDS, TDS portal queries, TDS Returns

  5. Checking Limited Review Results, Accounts, Notes To Accounts, Cash flow, Taxation, Consolidated Accounts in Accounts department (not audit firm)

  6. Checking GST Returns TALLY to GST website, GST payments, GST Annual Return

  7. Checking GST LUT Registration GST Purchases queries GST Sales queries

  8. Checking the impacts in Ind AS Accounts

  9. Checking Form 3CD Tax Audit, Income tax return of Company and TRACES website

  10. Checking the foreign payments, re-statement of balances, entries IEC Renewal

  11. Handling income tax assessments, TDS assessments and Service tax/GST assessments

  12. Checking all the compliances under the applicable laws – Income Tax, GST, TDS, Foreign payments, etc.

  13. Urge to be updated about latest technical matters affecting Accounts and Taxation

  14. Experience in checking the MIS reports and variance analysis with budget and trends

  15. Experience in handling gratuity actuarial valuation through consultant

  16. Well updated with other technical matters as below:

a) Current tax computations and Payments of advance tax

b) Deferred tax computations

c) Accounting Standards

d) GST Law

e) TDS

  1. Reviewing and keeping customers collections current and below 45 days old and Handling customers' queries

  2. Reviewing and managing vendors payments and Handling vendors' queries

  3. Handling cash flow of receipts and payments

  4. Our overseas reporting and reconciliation with Receipts

  5. Handling the requests that come in from all the departments

  6. Evaluating investments already made and to be made through Portfolio Managers

Reviewing B/S items and P&L items and keeping these current

Preference - Mumbai Local and Male Candidate
