Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Store Sales) to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales performance, and ensure superior customer satisfaction at our T. Nagar, Chennai retail store. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the store.
- Manage and motivate the store sales team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase footfall and sales conversions.
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards, and inventory accuracy.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally to ensure customer retention.
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for promotional activities and product launches.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Key Skills & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in retail or store sales, preferably in fashion, electronics, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a sales team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of POS systems and MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts as per business needs.
