Position: SEO & SMO Specialist

Reports To: Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

As part of our digital growth, we are seeking a dynamic SEO & SMO Specialist to drive organic visibility, brand awareness, and engagement across search engines and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Develop and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve search rankings and drive quality traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and content gap analysis.

  • Optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages for SEO best practices.

  • Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers for site performance improvements.

  • Build high-quality backlinks using ethical link-building practices.

  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

  • Stay up to date with algorithm updates and evolving SEO trends.

Social Media Optimization (SMO)

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with IDCUBEs brand and business goals.

  • Manage and optimize IDCUBEs presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Create and curate engaging content (posts, videos, infographics, stories, reels) for maximum visibility.

  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activities to strengthen engagement.

  • Run paid social campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Facebook & Instagram Ads) for lead generation and awareness.

  • Track and report social performance metrics (engagement, reach, leads, impressions) to measure effectiveness.

  • Engage with online communities, respond to queries, and build brand credibility.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in SEO & SMO (B2B/technology domain preferred).

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and content optimization.

  • Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics).

  • Hands-on experience with social media management & analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).

  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling and copywriting skills.

  • Analytical and data-driven approach with excellent communication skills.
