Job Summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is looking for an experienced Revit BIM Modeler to join our multidisciplinary design and engineering team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, capable of developing and managing accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines in compliance with L&Ts BIM standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain Revit-based BIM models for various project disciplines ( MEP).
  • Coordinate BIM data across teams to ensure model integrity, accuracy, and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks Manage or similar tools.
  • Extract and produce 2D drawings, schedules, quantities, and construction documentation directly from BIM models.
  • Ensure adherence to L&Ts BIM standards, templates, and project-specific modeling protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with project engineers, architects, and BIM coordinators to resolve model-related issues.
  • Maintain organized Revit model structures, linked models, and worksets for multi-user collaboration.
  • Support 4D/5D BIM integration efforts when required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical.
  • 36 years of relevant experience as a Revit BIM Modeler in the AEC industry.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit ( MEP).
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ACC.
  • Familiarity with LOD (Level of Development), clash detection, and BIM workflows.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills within multidisciplinary environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on L&T projects or other large-scale infrastructure/building projects.
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 or international BIM standards.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo scripting, Revit families, and parametric modeling.
  • Exposure to 4D/5D BIM, quantity take-offs, and construction sequencing.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools like Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.
