Job Description:

l Ensure on-time availability of defect-free spares & related services (domestic & global suppliers)

l Ensure on-time availability of work holding devices such as Jigs & Fixtures and related services

l Achieve Proposed Cost savings by negotiating & finding alternate suppliers

Job Responsibilities & Accountability:

Strategic Procurement:

l Implement cost-effective spare parts purchasing with fast delivery, reliable quality, and diverse suppliers.

l Streamline orders by consolidating & standardizing orders for spare parts.

l Work with TPM to ensure suitable and quality parts.

Procurement Management:

l Identify, evaluate, and choose suppliers within the country & abroad that match our quality and price criteria.

l Negotiate with suppliers for lower prices, better contracts, and delivery terms.

l Handle the entire procurement process from beginning to end.

l Keep detailed records of purchases, including costs, contracts, and supplier performance, to help make future decisions and improvements.

Supplier Relationship Management:

l Build and maintain strong relationships with local and worldwide suppliers, including those offering OEM and spare parts.

l Regularly evaluate supplier performance to aim for betterment and teamwork.

Work with suppliers on developing alternate products and cost-saving measures, benefiting both parties.
