**Purpose of the Role**
- Developing and implementing quality control activities, as well as overseeing the work of quality control personnel and other staff with respect to Incoming and Testing quality part of the value chain to achieve strategic operational goals

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Enabling achievement of quality targets by establishing and implementing stringent Incoming and Testing quality control activities
- Monitor critical quality metrics and parameters required to meet profitability and customer satisfaction targets
- Responsible for reduction of COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality) value within Incoming part of the value chain
- Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers' expectation in the most cost effective manner, through Incoming and Testing quality control activities along with action planning for identified gaps
- Ensure inspections and testing of all types of incoming raw materials, components, and products
- Ensure efficient testing procedures on materials and products for composites business
- Monitor the process of identification and addressing any incoming material quality issues or defects
- Work closely with other departments including SCM and manufacturing teams to ensure that quality control is integrated into all stages of the production process
- Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities and results
- Establishment of incoming testing and QC facility
- Ensure preparation of Quality and control plan for supplier parts
- Establishment of incoming testing and QC facility
- Establish process and ensure speedy resolution of customer complaints
- Ensure Testing, Analysis report preparation for all incoming raw materials.
- Ensure material test report preparation for all Local and Export despatches.
- Ensure quality manual related documents updation and control
- Ensure organised and efficient execution of calibration of testing equipments
- Review, Set, and track suitable targets and KPIs for the team to ensure effective performance and delivery
- Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the team to ensure effective collaboration among teams, team members and consistent, quality work
- Analyse quality data and identifying trends and areas for improvement for action planning to fill the gaps
- Coordinate with the automation team, to identify use cases, and drive automation initiatives within Incoming and Testing QC
- Prepare and present reports on quality control activities and results to the stakeholders, and advice on appropriate action to solve issues
- Ensure updation and use of the latest technologies and tools for Incoming and Testing quality control measurement
- Facilitate continuous learning and skilling across the section on essential functional and behavioural competencies
- Mentoring and managing a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Managing career aspirations and training needs of professionals within the section
- Monitor Sectional performance and identify areas of strengths and opportunities for development
- Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring achievement of set targets
- Attend MRB discussions, Support for Root cause ananlysis
- Visit to customer/Supplier locations for clarification of queries if any
- Understand and follow up for entire Testing activities (Mechanical tsting, Incoming, Chemical and NDT). attend DWM meeting, Sunrise meeting.
