Role Description

This is a full-time role for an ERPNext - Frappe Developer located on-site in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complete ERPNext implementations — from requirement gathering and analysis to deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Design, develop, and customize ERPNext applications and modules using the Frappe Framework (Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business processes and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Ensure smooth transition and compatibility of customizations during ERPNext and Frappe upgrades.
  • Handle system setup, configuration, data migration, and testing to deliver reliable and accurate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to process improvements, coding standards, and project documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and team growth.
  • Stay current with ERPNext, Frappe, and related technology trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience implementing and deploying ERPNext in production.
  • Strong programming skills in 
    Python
     and 
    JavaScript
    .
  • Solid understanding of the 
    Frappe Framework
     (DocTypes, Controllers, Views, Routes, Hooks, API development).
  • Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, jQuery, or React).
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases (MariaDB/MySQL) and database design.
  • Proven ability to integrate ERPNext with third-party applications via APIs.
  • Strong grasp of core ERPNext modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, CRM.
  • Familiarity with GIT version control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and server management (Nginx/Apache).
