Assistant Manager

Role Objective:
Lead and manage the design and development of rolling element bearings (TRB, CRB, BB, SRB) for industrial and automotive applications, ensuring quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop bearings as per performance and application requirements.
- Conduct bearing life and load calculations (L10/Lna).
- Select materials, tolerances, and fits for races, rollers, and cages.
- Use CAD and simulation tools (Solid Edge / Creo / SolidWorks / Romax / MESYS).
- Coordinate prototype testing and validation.
- Interact with OEM customers for new product development and application support.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, DIN, AFBMA, and IATF 16949 standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and sourcing teams for DFM/A.
- Lead cost reduction and VA/VE initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Bearing design principles (TRB, CRB, SRB, DGBB)
- CAD tools: Solid Edge, Creo, SolidWorks
- Knowledge of metallurgy, heat treatment & machining
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, FMEA, PPAP processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & leadership skills
Preferred Profile:
- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7 years experience in NPD of automotive parts /Bearings like CRB, DGBB, SRB, TRB.
- Hands-on with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
- Exposure to 3D CAD tools (Solid Edge), prototyping sample.
- Calculation for Bearing Product.
