Job Description

Nursing Officer supports surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile conditions, and assisting in patient positioning. They ensure the operating room is clean, organized, and fully equipped. This role demands strong attention to detail, teamwork, and quick response in critical situations. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surgical instruments and equipment before each surgical operation.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe operating room environment.
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures efficiently.
  • Monitor and restock surgical supplies as per requirements.
  • Transport patients safely to and from the operating room.
  • Dispose of contaminated materials following hospital infection control policies.
  • Record and report surgical room activities and equipment usage.
  • Support pre- and post-operative patient care procedures diligently.
Skill & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills under pressure.
  • Attention to detail with fast decision-making abilities.
  • Physical stamina to work long hours standing continuously.
  • Familiarity with surgical tools, drapes, and patient positioning.
