  1. Audit Planning :

  2. Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit plan based on risk assessments and organizational priorities.

  3. Coordinate with management to schedule audits and ensure minimal disruption to operations.

  4. Conducting Audits :

  5. Perform detailed audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of risk or inefficiency.

  7. Data Analysis :

  8. Analyze financial data and operational processes to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

  9. Utilize auditing software and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit procedures.

  10. Reporting :

  11. Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.

  12. Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  13. Follow-Up :

  14. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions taken by management.

  15. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that identified issues have been addressed effectively.

  16. Compliance and Risk Management :

  17. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

  18. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and internal control frameworks.

  19. Collaboration :

  20. Work closely with other departments to provide guidance on best practices and compliance issues.

  21. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

  22. Continuous Improvement :

  23. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing and risk management.

  24. Recommend improvements to audit processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Role & responsibilities
