Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Protection team to contribute as development engineer. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering. You'll be responsible for:

• Developing and owning components of a large-scale distributed system with a keen sense for and scalability
• Troubleshooting issues with a hawkish skills
• Working with Operations and Support (when needed) to help keep a healthy cloud and happy customer and at the end of the day

What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java expertise, developing middle-tier/backend web applications, and possessing a Bachelor's degree. Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
• Extensive experience with traditional databases, APIs, Web Services (REST), and a preference for microservices. Proficient in message queuing and caching using Kafka and Redis
• Experience with Hibernate or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks and bash/python script programming
• Familiarity with JSON, XML and experience using browser debugging and profiling tools
• Working knowledge of containerization (specifically Docker) and hands-on experience with Gemini code assist or other generative AI tools for development

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Expertise in Cloud, TCP/IP, and Networking coupled with experience in the security industry
• Proficient in endpoint development and skilled in Node/React development
• Experience with SAML/OAuth SSO authentication
