Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Architect - Life Sciences - Consultant with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

The Role

  • Core competency in Architectural designs and should have ability and hands on experience to work on schematic/statutory/ working drawings/schedule.
  • Should have good experience in pharma facility site master plan layouts 
  • Should have hands on experience in developing various pharma facility layouts for API, Formulation, Fill Finish, Vaccines & Warehouses (Raw & FG)
  • Exceptional knowledge in the design of pharmaceutical and bio-tech manufacturing in line with FDA guidelines and laboratory facilities is preferred
  • Expert understanding of building materials and systems, methods of construction and the integration of building services, structure, building core and envelope elements
  • Good knowledge of Architectural BOQ & specifications for pharmaceutical projects.
  • Good experience with Clean Room design and Pharma equipment, aware of Clean Design Standards under cGMP regulations and clean room details.
  • Shall have knowledge of statutory regulations, LEEDs certifications requirements and sustainability related design concepts/requirements.
  • Hands on experience on proposal estimate including man hour estimate, Cost & Quantity estimate
  • Should have experience in constructability review.
