Job Description – Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including payroll entries, sales, purchases, bank payments/receipts, and other journal entries.
  • Process vendor bills and employee reimbursement claims accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile ledger accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage payment gateway-related collections and MIS reporting.
  • Support the accounts team with documentation, petty cash management, banking, voucher preparation and posting, order processing, invoicing, and bill verification.
  • Implement measures to streamline and standardize accounting procedures.
  • Prepare accurate month-end accounts and reports.
  • Follow up with vendors for pending invoices or required details.
  • Prepare data for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to verify transaction reports and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • / with 1–3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software such as Tally ERP 9, Zoho, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
