Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Accountant
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
