We are looking for an experienced API Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable REST and GraphQL APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend integrations, API documentation, and authentication protocols, ensuring seamless communication between services and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web, mobile, and analytical applications.
  • Integrate APIs with external platforms such as API Setu, Poshan Tracker, and ABDM.
    •Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth2 protocols.
    •Manage API versioning, throttling, and monitoring to ensure high availability and reliability.

Create and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation for all APIs to ensure clarity and ease of use.

  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, and AI/ML teams for efficient API design and integration.
  • Optimize API performance, handle error management, and ensure scalability under high load.
  • Configure and manage NGINX for API routing, load balancing, and security measures.
  • Ensure APIs comply with data privacy and security standards.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions.
    •Understanding of secure API design patterns and best practices.
  • Hindi-speaking ability will be considered an added advantage for cross-team coordination.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
