About the role:

We're looking for a skilled Catalog Specialist to manage and optimize product listings on marketplaces. You'll ensure products are correctly listed, optimized, and updated to enhance visibility, drive sales, and increase profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Create, update, and manage product information across all platforms.
  • Catalog Operations: Manage end-to-end catalog operations for e commerce and quick commerce platforms, including new product onboarding, listing updates, and delisting.
  • Listing Accuracy: Ensure accurate titles, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing, and taxonomy alignment for all product listings.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary content assets and product information.
  • Error Resolution: Monitor platform dashboards to identify and resolve listing errors, image issues, and content discrepancies.
  • Optimization: Optimize product content such as titles, keywords, and bullet points to enhance discoverability and drive conversions.
  • Auditing: Regularly audit listings to maintain catalog hygiene and update outdated or non-compliant content.
  • New SKU Listing: Ensure timely listing of new SKUs and seamless integration of seasonal or promotional products.
  • A+ Content Development: Design, develop, and maintain A+ content to enhance product detail pages.
  • Data Accuracy & Auditing: Conduct regular quality checks and audits to identify and correct listing errors and suppressions in catalog data, ensuring high integrity and consistency across all platforms.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Monitor and manage inventory levels reflected in the catalog, ensuring product availability is accurately communicated.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on catalog performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to catalog management processes and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor catalog, identify issues, and drive resolutions to prevent products from becoming unsellable.

Desired Candidate Profile / Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce or quick commerce content or catalog management, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization for product listings.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with seller portals and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with listing processes and policies of e commerce and quick commerce platforms.

· Self-motivated, structured, and able to manage tasks independently.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
