Job Overview

As a Senior SEO Leader at Webenza, you'll drive strategic SEO direction and innovation across clients in diverse sectors. Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute full-funnel SEO strategies aligned with clients' business goals.
• Identify growth opportunities using competitive benchmarking, market insights, and emerging trends.
• Translate SEO goals into clear business outcomes — traffic, engagement, conversions, and revenue.

Technical SEO

• Conduct in-depth audits addressing crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, structured data, and mobile UX.
• Collaborate with tech and dev teams to resolve advanced technical issues and implement improvements.
• Optimize web architecture for search performance, scalability, and health.

On-Page & Content Optimization

• Oversee meta, header, schema, internal linking, and semantic SEO best practices.
• Guide content teams with data-driven keyword strategies and topical authority frameworks.
• Ensure alignment of SEO with broader content, UX, and CRO strategies.

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

• Lead ethical and scalable link-building programs through digital PR, outreach, and brand partnerships.
• Analyze and manage backlink profiles to maintain and grow domain authority.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

• Set up and manage dashboards using GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, and other analytics tools.
• Monitor performance KPIs and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Create clear and impactful reports that demonstrate SEO ROI and campaign success.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead and mentor a growing SEO team, setting best practices and quality standards.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with account management, content, design, and development teams.
• Partner with client success and business development teams to drive SEO-led growth for existing and new clients.
• Define and evolve internal SEO processes and frameworks to improve delivery excellence.
• Actively contribute to thought leadership through Webenza blogs

Key Requirements

• 7–10 years
  of SEO experience, with demonstrated success in managing multiple brands.
• Strong
  technical SEO knowledge
  (HTML, CSS, JS rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data).
• Agency-side experience with fast-paced, multi-project management.
• Proven expertise with
  tools
  like GA4, GSC, GTM, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
• Hands-on experience in both
  strategy and execution
  for high-traffic or enterprise websites.
• Strong understanding of
  search engine algorithms
  and evolving SERP features.
• Exceptional
  analytical thinking
  , team leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience working directly with
  developers, content teams, and senior stakeholders
  .
• Experience using generative AI tools for content ideation or optimization workflows.
• Strong understanding of SEO for headless CMS, web apps, and composable architecture.

Nice to Have
